Action of Little "Bastard" Amaze In a Ox Carts Festival

A year ago, Ox carts Festival ever held in Complex of Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman, on Sunday (06/16/2013). A little child has been involved as a coachman or called "Bajingan" (Bastard) and wowed tourists. Not only domestic tourists, but also from abroad and all people around.

Action "bastard" child named Satria (10), charmed thousands of visitors Ox Carts Festival held at the Stadium Complex Maguwoharjo, Sleman Yogyakarta, is held for the first time.

The festival was attended by approximately 170 oxcart. In this cultural event attended Yogyakarta Governor Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X and GKR Hemas and Police Chief DIY, Sleman Regent and his deputy.

The enthusiasm of the ox cart pullers are frequently called "bastard" is big enough. Evidently, the day before the cultural event, the Bajingan already be on site preparation. They spend the night at the stadium. The cultural event was a success due in addition to domestic tourists, foreign tourists also come.

Another interesting attraction int the festival is the action of painter from Yogyakarta, Bambang Heras. He painted the cow's body as a canvas. He said that he paint a "Bajingan" using a hat called Caping. That is the first time he painted cow or oxcart as a media.

Admiration of the audience heard when Satria, 10-year-old boy, showed his skill ride wagon to control oxcart when GKR Hemas and Vice Sleman Regent riding as a passenger. Satria is the youngest "son of a bitch" (means: Bajingan) in this festival.

Ox cart is a traditional means of transportation in the 1900s. Until now this transport is still widely used by people on the slopes of Mount Merapi, Yogyakarta. Various attempts were made by the government and community-association ox cart owner to continue to preserve its existence, one of which is held Carriage Cow Festival.
