A brief Story of Endurance, Ernest Shackleton's Ship

An Endurance22 expedition has achieved its goal of finding the world's most challenging shipwreck. Endurance ship found off the coast of Antarctica. The wreck of Sir Ernest Shackleton's Endurance Ship, which was trapped in sea ice before sinking in 1915, has been found off the coast of Antarctica. This is then referred to as the "pole milestone" The Falklands Maritime Heritage Trust said the ship was found at a depth of 3,008 meters, about four miles south of the position originally recorded by the ship's Captain Frank Worsley. The mission to find Endurance in the Weddell Sea began in Cape Town, South Africa, in February, a month after the 100th anniversary of Sir Ernest's death on a mission to find it.
