No Relocation Land for Kandangan Elementary School

-Displaced Ungaran Toll Project
Surrounding The Project
ADVANCED 14 kilometres Semarang - Solo toll project in Kandangan Village of Bawen Jateng Indonesia led to Kandangan II and IV Elementary School must be relocated. Unfortunately, the government has not set up land to build new schools yet.
The impact was hundreds of students at the two elementary schools had to be learning in a worst situation, for the highway construction started last September 2011. Now the project has been lasting while those two elementary schools placed in a 2,600 meters square land, standing right in land that the toll project will pass.

While dozens of home residents (people/ citizens) surrounding area has moved since 13th September 2011, the schools were standing still. There's no fresh water in the schools. The dust is surrounding the area while many students in the school playground. Now, the school had no electricity anyway.

It's dissapointed for Kandangan IV Elementary School Headmaster, Kristiana Utary. In response, the institute likely to move those students at home residents. However it will no concentration in learning.

"It's dissapointed that the team of land acquisition have found no new area for relocating our schools," Kristiana said.
The Principal of Kandangan II Elementary School Titik, Rusmiati has similar argumentation about the condition. "There's no water, even electricity. The relocation should be ready earlier," she said.

There're two locations measured to relocate the primary school. One location on the western highway projects covering 1,600 square meters, another one in the east of the project approximately 1,400 square feet. However, the land have not been acquisited yet, for no land price agreement as well. There is no land for sure. The Head of Semarang District Education department, Dewi Pramuningsih, had asked for land acquisition team to immediately determine the land for the relocation.(jowotenan)
